Story
We
went to the hospital Tuesday night for a scheduled induction on Wed morning.
Overnight they gave her some pre-induction treatment to get Erin
ready, and Wed morning at
about 6:30am
prepared her for induction.
During the prep, Erin began laboring!
No induction necessary!
Around
10am
her water broke and Erin
went into Active Labor
(“pushing”). At 10:18am, out came beautiful Brooke,
and I was able to cut the cord. Erin
didn’t even have time for
an epidural, and did it “All Natural”!
She’s my hero.
Both
Brooke and Erin are doing great and are the buzz of the Labor and Delivery
department. Both are healthy and
recovering well. Brooke is a sweet
and happy baby, and cries very little (so far!)
Dad is ecstatic and exhausted, and is proud to have stayed on his feet
for the whole thing.
